Off-Duty Services Program Update
Effective August 10, 2026, the Cayce Police Department has contracted with Off Duty Management (ODM) to assist with our external off-duty program. ODM will provide complete off-duty administration, including scheduling, invoicing, collections, and payroll using its web-based software and mobile app, OfficerTRAK®.
This partnership streamlines service requests, shift changes, and payments while providing comprehensive insurance coverage for your organization and our officers.
What to Expect with Off Duty Management
OfficerTRAK® Online Portal: Create requests, track shift fill status, view clocking times, post instructions, review shift history, and pay online.
Insurance Coverage: ODM maintains comprehensive liability insurance for officers and agency partners, as well as State Statutory Workers’ Compensation Insurance for officers. Your company is afforded claimant rights under applicable policies.

Requesting Services
To request off-duty officer services for August 10, 2026, or later, register online through the service portal:

Complete all required information.
Log in from this page whenever you need to submit a service request.

Off-Duty Rates & Hours
All requests require a 3-hour minimum shift.

Emergency Rate: Applies to any request received less than 48 hours prior to the shift start time.

Payment, Invoicing, and Terms
Payment Method: Off Duty Management pays officers directly; all vendor payments must be submitted to ODM.
Prepayment & Net 30 Terms: ODM reserves the right to require prepayment (including admin fees and sales tax). If approved for invoicing, payments are Net 30 days from the date the invoice is emailed.
Late Charges: A late fee of 1.5% per month (or the highest rate permitted by state law) applies to past-due, undisputed balances. Continued non-payment may result in service termination following 2 days’ notice.
Disputes: Invoice disputes must be submitted to ODM in writing within 10 days of receipt.
Credit/Debit Card Fee: A 3.0% processing fee applies to payments made via credit or debit card.
Invoice-Approved Vendors: Email required registration forms, accounts payable processes, or portal information to [email protected] prior to your first job. Delays in providing this information do not extend the 30-day payment deadline.
Cancellation Policy
Canceling or reducing an assignment within 24 hours of the scheduled start time requires payment of whichever is greater: officer hours actually worked, or the 3-hour agency minimum shift plus ODM administrative fees for the first 24 hours of the original assignment.

How to request an Officer for a event
Extra Duty Solutions (EDS) will be handling the administration of the extra duty details worked by the Cayce Police Department starting on July 1, 2023. This partnership provides benefits to you as the customer, as well as the agency. As a customer, you will have access to the agency’s EDS account team 24/7/365 for any questions or needs related to scheduling an officer. You will receive an invoice from EDS for jobs worked.
Officers of the Cayce Police Department are prohibited from accepting off-duty assignments wherein the actual or potential use of law enforcement powers or other public safety related authority is anticipated, unless such assignments are scheduled through the Cayce Police Department. The department must ensure that your business or event has agreed to these conditions that have been set in place for not only our off-duty officers but also the public requesting the officers.
To request an extra duty detail, please complete the online request form using the button below. If the detail is recurring or is multiple days, please document that information in the comments section. An EDS Account Manager will contact you for clarification if needed.

EDS will handle all invoicing. Payment information will accompany all invoices.
Rates are inclusive of all fees:
- Off-Duty rate for general security is $65 per officer for a minimum of 3hrs.
- Off-Duty Holiday rate for general security is $130 per hour for a minimum of 3hrs.
- Off-Duty 5 business days prior to the event scheduled will be $130 per hour with a minimum of (This does exclude funeral homes, but still has to pay a 3hr minimum).
- All cancellations must be 24hrs prior to the event or a 3hr minimum must be paid per officer.
- Any cancellation cancelled after the start time will result in the officer getting paid for 100% of the job.
Extra duty details are filled on a voluntary basis and the potential for unfilled requests exists.
